Association for Student Judicial Affairs
The purpose of this Association shall be to facilitate the integration of student development concepts with principles of judicial practice in a post-secondary educational setting and to promote, encourage and support student development professionals who have responsibility for judicial affairs.
This purpose shall be accomplished in the following ways:
- by developing a communication network for the exchange of ideas, judicial codes and other model practices;
- by identifying and communicating current legal issues and other concerns affecting the Association's members;
- by providing a source of educational development and support for members through the sponsorship of seminars and conferences;
- by promoting, encouraging and sponsoring research
- by adopting and reviewing standards for professional preparation and practice; and
- by working cooperatively.
