American College Health Association

The American College Health Association (ACHA) was founded in 1920 as a professional organization for health services and professionals at institutions of higher education. Programs include publications, consultation, development of quality assurance standards, continuing education seminars and meetings, collection and analysis of data on campus health services, and monitoring of public policy issues. ACHA conducts annual surveys of management information on health services and mental health services offered in academic communities, salaries and fringe benefits of health professionals in the college health services, and operational and administrative characteristics of the health programs.
